Security in the cloud

1 July 2014 Information Security

Panda Security has announced the availability of its new cloud offering, Panda Cloud Fusion, which combines comprehensive security, management and support in one solution.

The new Panda Cloud Fusion offers benefits for organisations needing to manage and secure end-points (including smartphones and tablets) more effectively, reducing complexity and enabling users to be managed, regardless of whether they are in the office or not.

“Panda Cloud Fusion increases user productivity, filtering and monitoring Internet usage during working hours, neutralising spam and allowing companies to focus on core business activities,” explains Jeremy Matthews, country manager for Panda Security.

Panda Cloud Fusion builds on Panda’s 20 years of experience and product development in security, providing lightweight anti-malware protection – securing business without cumbersome infrastructure investment. This combination of comprehensive device management and endpoint security is an industry first. It packages Panda Cloud Office Protection Advanced (PCOP Advanced), Panda Cloud Systems Management (PCSM) and Panda Cloud Cleaner (PCC) into one solution. Companies can now simultaneously take advantage of the security, management and support capabilities that these three products provide.

Panda’s threat detection system, PCOP Advanced, ensures maximum security against malware and exploits that take advantage of unknown and unpatched vulnerabilities. PCSM, a remote endpoint systems management solution, includes audit, configuration, patch and software distribution capabilities, as well as remote device control. The PCC Monitor provides customers and partners with a single web-based console, giving managers the ability to view results after running the Panda Cloud Cleaner anti-malware tool.
