Dahua Technology has introduced its tri-brid HDCVI DVR (DH-HCVR7000-series), a digital video recorder compatible with three signals – HDCVI, analogue and network.
The hybrid DVR is a good solution to address problems of mixed systems where both analogue and network cameras have been installed, as well as environments using HDCVI technology to obtain high definition surveillance at lower cost.
The launch of the tri-brid HDCVI DVR is not only a key to multiple signal access, making it compatible with legacy cameras as well as megapixel IP signals, but also an improvement in terms of its capability. HCVR7000-series supports 200 Mbps network transmission, allowing smooth real-time encoding and playback and dual-HDMI output is supported. Moreover, with P2P technology, a quick QR code scan on the device could provide monitoring via mobile phone.
“Even though HDCVI is an in-house innovation, we need to ensure its interoperability with other technologies as people today want an open system that can easily be upgraded and integrated with each other,” said Tim Shen, Marketing Director at Dahua Technology.
