The Philips REO is the latest generation of successful Philips Observation systems and boasts products with advanced chip technology, integrated functionality and service and reliability.
The REO 'plug-and-play' approach to installation requires no specialised CCTV knowledge, equipment or tools for installation, and the menu-driven user interface eliminates costly and lengthy training for personnel.
The REO is supplied as an all-in-one system based around a stylish monitor and cameras simply plug in to the back. Front panel controls include a large rotary knob for selecting camera images and navigating through menus. The optional remote control makes it easier to operate the system without having to reach up to the monitor, typically mounted high above the counter.
Furthermore, the REO switcher monitor accepts up to four cameras and displays the images one after the other in full-screen mode, while the picture-in-picture viewing option allows a second camera to be viewed simultaneously. The more advanced multiplexer monitor accepts up to eight cameras and displays sequenced full-screen images, four cameras in realtime quad (2x2 matrix) and eight cameras in a 3x3 matrix. Philips offers a three-year warranty on the REO range.
