Sony has introduced the SSC-MD53VCE, SSC-CD53VP, SSC-MD33VCE and SSC-CD33VP high resolution mini fixed-dome cameras to its range of surveillance video cameras.
The dome cameras are suitable for surveillance sites where video cameras should be less noticeable such as building entrances, retail stores, shopping malls, etc. In addition to the discreetness, Sony original sleek triangular design of the cameras fits smartly into any surveillance site.
To accommodate users' requirements, a choice of four models that differ in the body strength (rugged/normal) and signal system (B&W/colour) is provided. All four models are equipped with auto iris varifocal lens with a focal length of 2,8 to 5,8 mm to set the optimum viewing area.
Other features include:
* Rugged design: The SSC-MD53VCE and SSC-CD53VP are equipped with aluminium die-cast heavy duty enclosures complying with IP66 standard. Also, anti-theft screws are used for these models to prevent any attempts to steal or break the camera.
* High picture quality: Adoption of 1/4 type super HAD CCD allows the camera to achieve a horizontal resolution of over 570 TV lines (B/W) or 480 TV lines (colour) and sensitivity of 0,4 lx (B/W) or 2,0 lx (colour).
In addition, the incorporated lens allows for easy picture adjustment after installation. The camera employs a Sony unique lens adjustment screw.
