Aluvin Securiseal, a local manufacturer and distributor of security seals, has introduced a combined keyless padlock and indicative seal.
The Aria seal, from Envopak in the UK, is designed for use in applications where both strength and easy removal are required, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications from securing vehicles to air freight containers, safety deposit boxes and duty-free trolleys. It is also ideal for parcel and courier systems, retail distribution and specialist logistics.
According to Aluvin Securiseal Managing Director Kevin Norwitz, the re-usable padlock and indicative Duoseal can replace the function of traditional padlocks, plastic and metal seals providing an easy-to-use security system. It is made up of two parts - body and seal. The tough plastic body includes a steel hasp and is re-usable.
The Duoseal, a plastic indicative seal, allows the Aria to be opened and closed by hand. This new sealing combination is available in a range of different colours, for coding purposes, and can be permanently affixed to the specific application.
Both the body and the Duoseal can be numbered, bar coded and branded for a secure audit trail. No keys or combination result in extra control, eliminating the possibility of loss or duplication.
