With thousands of pedestals already installed at leading international fashion retailers, the FL45 is a proven high-performance product for loss prevention purposes, especially designed for the retail sector.
The FL45 pedestal can initially be installed as an Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) system with RF detection and easily be upgraded later to a hybrid RF/RFID system. The RFID reader is simply clipped into the already installed pedestal, which makes it possible to quickly rollout RFID to hundreds of stores within a short timeframe. This protects retailers’ investments in EAS security systems, as the existing pedestal and electronics can stay in place.
The state-of-the-art reader and antenna design ensure optimal read performance, even in challenging environments. Other unique features are advanced tag filtering, direction detection, visitor counting and metal detection, which are fully integrated in the same pedestal.
