Golmar IP intercom

1 January 2014 Access Control & Identity Management, Products & Solutions

The plug and play IP Door Entry system runs on the TCP/IP protocol, meaning the iPlus can run on LAN alongside other devices and distances will no longer be a problem. Simple and easy to install and configure, the iPlus IP Door Entry system works on a POE IP network.

The system has very few limitations making it a powerful communication tool both in a residential and commercial environment.

The IP Digital Video Entry Panel with built-in full colour TFT display enables the user to connect with unlimited users, be they concierge stations or monitors. This entry panel is manufactured in a 2,5 mm thick ANSI stainless steel, which is treated to avoid fingerprint spots. It is very easy to find the tenant’s name by scrolling the list or by dialling the number directly. The RJ-45 connector at the rear of the panel makes it easy to connect. Apart from the Digital Video Entry Panel with built-in full colour TFT display, there are many other variations of IP Video Entry Panels with push buttons to choose from.

Features of the Concierge unit include an event log that is automatically and conveniently stored on the concierge unit after each event, making it possible to navigate through the last 2000 events processed in the system for security purposes.

Other features such as panic calls from tenants with a distinctive chime tone can easily be configured. The concierge units have a tracking function that allows the user to call up any of the door entry panels, showing a view from the built-in camera as well as displaying the name/location of the door entry panel. Should the concierge be busy on a call a call transfer facility will automatically transfer the incoming call to the next available concierge. In instances where there are multiple concierge units on the same system, intercommunication is possible between the concierge units by selecting the required concierge displayed on the menu screen of the concierge unit.
