The new 960H analogue camera range, from Grundig Security, comprises indoor mini domes, outdoor vandal-resistant mini domes, bullet and box cameras with surface, flush, wedge (angle) and pole mount options. The bullet cameras also incorporate a new, three-axis, high-impact bracket, which offers infinite positional adjustment.
The analogue range is available in both colour and true day/night variants. All the cameras use advanced 960H analogue technology; a new development which produces image resolutions of up to 700TVL in black and white and 650TVL in colour modes.
“Adaptive IR technology is used in the night-time cameras to avoid scene or target saturation from the camera’s built-in IR LEDs,” explains Andreas Franusic, product manager at Grundig. “The ambient IR level can be set up manually using an adjuster tool. The same adjuster tool is used for the mini-dome lens adjustment and for locking the camera into position on its three axis gimbal. The IR mini-dome options use a new 'U-form' formation of 28 IR LEDs to create uniform scene illumination across a full 90° viewing angle. This results in higher quality night-time images.
“The wide dynamic range (WDR) feature has been improved to compensate for even greater scene contrast than before. The new high light compression (HLC) feature removes over-exposed parts of a scene altogether. Tamron lenses are used across the range to ensure high-quality optics and the majority of cameras use vari-focal lenses for installation simplicity.”
