Glass patch fitting collection for glass doors

Union, part of ASSA ABLOY South Africa’s architectural division’s hardware and locking solutions, has introduced a new product range, the glass patch fitting collection. The collection is designed to meet the requirements of the glass door market and consists of a range of high quality patch fittings that comply with current industry standards.

The glass patch fitting collection is available in Satin Stainless Steel (SSS) and Polished Stainless Steel (PSS) finishes and is suitable for glass doors with a maximum weight of up to 80 kg, a maximum width of 1100 mm and a thickness of between 8 and 12 mm.

The patch fitting range includes top and bottom door patches as well as strike boxes. “Our top door patches suit 15 mm pivots, transom closers, over and side panels with 15 mm pivots for double or single swing doors with or without stops, and side panels with fin fitting,” says ASSA ABLOY South Africa’s national sales manager (Architectural Division), Randen Lannas. The bottom door patches are ideal for floor springs.

Additional options in the range include:

* Connector for over panel and side panel with stop.

* Over panel connector with stop inserts.

* Corner lock for euro profile cylinder.

The range of strike boxes include double over panel, universal, corner over panel as well as single over panel units.
