Hikvision and Bosch collaborate

Recently, Hikvision and Bosch announced an integration programme, which will see Hikvision’s Netra-based NVR series seamlessly integrate with Bosch HD IP cameras, further improve product interoperability as well as provide the best product solutions to their customer base. Users now are able to achieve the combined advantages of both companies and their cutting-edge technologies.

“We can now provide more dedicated resources through this Integration Partner Programme to ensure both parties can fully exploit their respective strategic advantages to give our customers the best possible solutions. It is a win-win for everyone,” said Leo Chen, manager of Integration Partner Programme at Bosch. “With this cooperation, our products achieve powerful functionality, and provide optimal solutions and combinations for integrators, consultants, design firms, and end users. Bosch will continue to improve and further innovate our products, as well as third-party compatibility, to offer even more integration possibilities.”

“We’ve seen a continual transition in the overall security industry from analogue to IP. This cooperation with Bosch is an excellent example of two leading technology providers working together to provide highly effective IP video monitoring and recording solutions. Both parties’ sophisticated vertical applications will increase,” noted Keen Yao, international marketing director at Hikvision.

Hikvision’s Netra-based NVR series is both easy to use and provides powerful network functionalities, high definition image quality, and massive storage capacity. Notable features include dual system design, dual Gigabit NIC, flexible HDD quota, group management, and a smart search function to record files by event type and tags. ONVIF and PSIA standard protocols are sup-ported, as well.
