Multi-channel with advanced video analytics

August 2013 Surveillance

VideoIQ has announced the availability of the full Rialto family of products. The first member of the family, the Rialto A4, introduced in 2012, has successfully created a demand for a solution that transforms any existing video surveillance system into a prevention solution.

The new additions to the family, the Rialto I4 and R-Series products integrate advanced megapixel video analytics and months of on-board storage, enabling users to easily and economically add advanced video analytics to analogue, megapixel IP and thermal cameras. The Rialto family is compatible with VideoIQ’s View video management software (VMS) and also supports many third-party VMS platforms.

Self-learning analytics

The Rialto product line is designed to transform new or existing surveillance systems into proactive prevention solutions with cutting-edge intelligence and analytics, These analytics detect and classify suspicious activity, and send live video notifications directly to a designated responder – an end-user, on-site security personnel or a professional monitoring partner for immediate verification and real-time response.

The Rialto products are easy to install, optimised for low-bandwidth/remote deployments and are integrated with View, VideoIQ Mobile (iOS and Android) and third-party VMS platforms, enabling businesses to effectively monitor their facility via their desktop, smartphone, tablet or a central monitoring station. The R-Series is a modular video analytic appliance with support for up to 16 IP, analogue or thermal cameras.

The Rialto I4 ('I' is for IP) is a compact video analytic appliance that supports up to four IP channels and is compatible with third-party IP and thermal security cameras. The Rialto A4 ('A' is for analogue) supports four analogue channels and is compatible with any analogue security cameras.

“The success of our Rialto product line shows that customers want to exercise that ounce of prevention: responding to events in real-time rather than reviewing footage later,” said Mahesh Saptharishi, founder and CTO at VideoIQ. A VideoIQ solution maximises the prevention value of existing systems by accurately notifying security personnel of suspicious activities as they occur, enabling them to assess and respond to events before they escalate into critical situations. VideoIQ is transforming the value of video surveillance from a retroactive forensic tool to a proactive prevention solution.”
