Sukema launches new management solution

1 July 2013 News & Events, Surveillance

Sukema Integrated Solutions has launched its new version of CHASE IMS – Incident and Operations Management System to compete head on with the best PSIM systems in the world. Sukema has established itself as a major player in the market place since 1999, providing solutions to many enterprise blue chip companies, SMMEs and corporate clients.

The recently launched CHASE IMS (V2) has been re-engineered from the ground up, incorporating an API interface for integration to virtually any third-party technologies and sub-systems, both IP based and analogue, as well as non-intelligent devices. This is achieved through the use of PLCs and scada components, providing a much more powerful and scalable solution to customers. PSIM is only one component of a total operations solution, which is why CHASE IMS has been scaled to provide a single, centralised, Web-enabled platform addressing the requirements of security, OHS, maintenance, asset management, logistics and more.

CHASE IMS continues to expand in capability, functionality and real value add to provide a true end-to-end operations solution, constantly staying ahead of the ever-changing market and technology curve. The recent integration with Avigilon, Milestone, IRIS RFID, Impro and other third-party technologies has resulted in widespread interest from organisations focused on improving effectiveness, measuring and reducing costs of operations management.

Kevin Buret, MD of Sukema says, “The recent IFSEC expo held in the UK has reinforced the fact that our locally developed software products and solutions can very competently compete on equal footing globally with the best in the world. Software is software, no matter where in the world it is developed, and a major plus factor for us is the Rand/Dollar/Euro exchange rates; we are able to offer comparative software products, and often superior software products at considerably lower prices than overseas software, while not compromising on the value and functions they provide the customer. Support and customisation of our software is also conducted locally, providing customers with quick turnaround times at lower cost.”

Sukema offers turnkey scalable solutions to companies, providing its own South African developed software products which are all Microsoft compliant, Web enabled, thin client, fully integrated and secure. The software suite includes amongst others, E-Recruitment, Verification, Roster, Payroll, PSIM, Operations Management, Mobile Emergency E9 and numerous additional modules to fit the customer’s requirements fully.
