SmartProtect plugs Suprema into Milestone

SmartProtect is a plug-in for the Milestone Video Management Software (VMS). It allows centralisation of data from BioStar into Milestone thereby enhancing business intelligence. All information is accessible on Milestone allowing monitoring of fire, surveillance, alarms and now access from one location. SmartProtect saves time in critical situations by providing seamless access to required data, in one place.

The Suprema range is now fully integrated into SmartProtect making all information from Suprema’s BioStar available in Milestone. All Suprema alarm and access events are fed directly into Milestone and tagged to video recordings.

Milestone integrates with over 1500 IP cameras from 100+ manufacturers with more than 100 000 installations worldwide. This development provides Suprema users with a sophisticated open platform VMS to offer a total security solution. Current Milestone users can now also easily add Suprema’s internationally acclaimed access control to their VMS.
