ZKTeco has launched the portable S922 time and attendance unit. The IP65 S922 has a durable rubber casing with a drop protection rating of 1 m. The unit features a 3,5-inch colour screen, durable ZK Optical fingerprint sensor and a fingerprint capacity of 5000 templates. The unit is fitted with a Lithium 7600 mAh battery to support up to 4 hours standby time.
The unit is primarily designed for remote locations where data communication infrastructure may not be available. To solve this one can use the USB function to manually download/upload things like the transactions, user info and firmware updates plus the optional addition of Wi-Fi, GPRS or TCP/IP functions to transmit the transactions in areas where this type of communication is supported. Typical application fields are construction sites, logistics companies, industrial, mining and agricultural environments.
