The BDN-0550IRSW camera features the latest state-of-the-art Pixim Seawolf CMOS image sensor technology, delivering high image quality with 690 HTVL-E resolution.
The camera's wide dynamic range (WDR) capability ensures that scenes are faithfully reproduced without excessively dark or bright areas being compromised, the WDR capability also ensures much more accurate colour rendition over the entire scene. Superior WDR also equips the camera to deal with very difficult lighting conditions, such as looking out of dark areas into brightly lit areas – even in the most demanding lighting conditions the camera delivers scene accuracy and image quality that cannot be achieved with other imaging technologies.
True day/night capability ensures clean and crisp colour images during daylight, when light levels fall low enough the camera changes over to mono mode and the integrated IR array is switched on. This then provides the camera scene IR lighting up to a distance of 100 metres with sharp mono images.
The dual integrated IR arrays allow the IR light to be focused to match the camera view, providing a great deal of scope and flexibility for scene illumination.
