IPVS names Best Value Added Distributor for Africa

Milestone Systems awarded IP Video Solutions with Africa’s top distributing honour at the Milestone Partner Open Platform function held at the luxurious Yas Rotana Hotel on the man-made Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, in May 2012.

While exploring the oasis that is Abu Dhabi delegates also enjoyed insight from Milestone from renowned key speakers as well as integration demonstrations and new product introductions from today’s leading manufacturers such as Sony, Axis and Mobotix.

The forum concluded with an exclusive trip to Ferrari World which was only overshadowed by the awards banquet in which Eric Fullerton, Milestone’s chief sales and marketing officer, and Peter Biltsted, sales director of MEA and South Pacific, presented Marnix de Lorm, technical manager at IPVS, with the prestigious award.

De Lorm says: “We have invested heavily in marketing and technical resources to make Milestone the biggest selling VMS in Africa, and we appreciate the award in recognition of the Best Value Added Distributor of the year in Africa”.

Peter Biltsted completed proceedings by stating, “We would like to congratulate IPVS on this accolade. Their dedication and commitment shown to the Milestone brand over the last two years has paid off and this award is well deserved.“
