Improved CyberDome model

Kalatel has released a new model of its CyberDome surveillance camera system. The new 7" CyberDome incorporates improvements in size, ease of installation and operating efficiency.

The new CyberDome features several design innovations including:

* A new design for the acrylic dome features a rounded bezel that produces a tight seal between the upper and lower parts of the housing. This improved seal increases the efficiency of the heater unit and prevents insects from getting inside the housing.

* A new dome colour choice called 'Smoked' gives a tinted gray appearance to the dome and hides the camera's position. It also allows more light to pass through to the camera's sensor than other dome colours.

* A moulded rubber boot has been added for all pendant-mount domes to improve the seal to the threads and eliminate potential water seal problems.

To complement the new CyberDome, Kalatel is also introducing a new injection-moulded wall-mounting bracket called the CyberMount. The CyberMount's cavity includes a waterproof area to house the system's cable interface circuit card.
