Making a splash at IFSEC

Once again, Norbain will have a prominent stand at IFSEC 2012. Visitors to the stand can expect to see the solid leading brands that have been added to the Norbain product list, as well as the latest innovations from long-term suppliers.

Some of the brands you can expect to see on display include:

Risco: A new range of access control solutions by Risco will be on display. A featured solution will be the new Axesplus cloud solution. Based on its 15 years of experience in intrusion solutions for large organisations, Risco now offers axesplus, an advanced access management solution based on distributed intelligence, servers in a data centre and cloud computing technology.

IndigoVision: The IndigoVision Camera Gateway will be on show for visitors looking to integrate multiple camera vendors into a single surveillance solution. IndigoVision’s Camera Gateway enables cameras from a diverse range of manufacturers to be connected to an IndigoVision SMS4 system. It takes video streams from other manufacturers’ cameras using their native protocols and then enables users to view the streams in Control Center and record them to an NVR.

Heitel: Heitel’s refurbished look, ‘Powered by Xtralis’ and its new logo will be launched at the show. The company aims to refurbish its entire range and Norbain will be the first to introduce it to its South African customer base at IFSEC 2012, bundled with a bouquet of new features and functions.

HID Global: Norbain recently announced the addition of HID Global’s physical access control solutions (PACS) to its product offering. HID Global is recognised for robust quality, innovative designs and industry leadership.

Videotec: Another new product in the Norbain stable is Videotec. This company manufactures a wide range of CCTV products and is recognised for high performance, flexibility and style. Videotec’s goal is to lead the field in the development of robust, reliable and high performance mechanical and electronic products for high-end and specialised surveillance applications.

Fujinon Lenses: Norbain is now distributing Fujinon’s range of high-quality lenses due to an increased demand from the market for these high quality lenses. The lenses will be on display on the Norbain stand for interested parties.

Vista: An award-winning product from Vista is the Vista Graphica Sabre, an NVR that aims to change how the market sees IP CCTV. With over 50% of integrators now specifying IP, it has become essential for installers to get to grips with the technology. Vista understands that this can be a daunting task and has designed Graphica Sabre to allow installers to move effortlessly from conventional analogue CCTV to IP video.

It goes without saying that solutions from Norbain’s other partners will also be on display. Visitors to the stand will be able to view innovations from companies such as Sony, ControlSoft, Samsung (which will showcase its IP range), local innovator BFR, Pelco, Seetec, HikVision, Ideco and Saflec.
