Access with Turnstar

This year Turnstar will have its stand in hall 2. Turnstar will be displaying its Speedstile Motion, a high-speed medium security access control solution for office buildings and combines high-speed silent motor drives with a sleek design. Its cabinet is manufactured from 304 grade brushed stainless steel and is effectively a hand-crafted product.

Turnstar will also be displaying a 1,8 m diameter automatic revolving door. The door is manufactured from 304 grade brushed stainless steel and is fitted with 8 mm curved and flat toughened glass. Safety is a major concern for automatic revolving doors and thus Turnstar automatic revolving doors are fitted with an anti-crush ultra sensitive safety edge system which instantly stops the door if the door encounters an obstacle.

Turnstar will be displaying their man-trap cubicle which is manufactured from steel and powder coated in a colour of the customer’s choice. The steel frame provides a stable and secure man-trap cubicle. The cubicle is fitted with two half-ton monitored magnetic locks, LED indicator lights, stainless steel pull handles and night locks. The man-trap cubicle is designed for heavy-duty use and avoids the use of any hinges. Most installers will tell you that hinges are the part which require the most maintenance.

Turnstar will also display three rising bollards of various diameters (120, 274 and 356 mm) and a rising kerb which are used for high security and anti-terror roadway installations. The rising bollards are available in a number of diameters, from 90 mm to 356 mm, and in both a coated structural steel and stainless steel depending on aesthetic requirements.
