Centurion-based ERS Biometrics has launched a fingerprint mouse that provides protection for PC data, e-mails, and documents. Gate Keeper has all the standard functions of a computer mouse but with a built-in fingerprint reader. This simple-to-use solution ensures that no unauthorised person can gain entry to a protected PC, program or folder.
Equipped with the latest in optical biometrics, fingerprints are recognised in less than a second. Internet banking, sensitive documentation and private information can only be unlocked and viewed after positive fingerprint identification.
ERS uses the Gate Keeper Mouse to provide secure access to its online time & attendance and access control software. The ERS access control software also allows for doors, gates, turnstiles, etc. to be opened directly from an authorised personnel’s PC just by placing a finger on their mouse.
