Norbain SA takes on HID Global

Norbain SA recently announced the addition of HID Global’s physical access control solutions (PACS) to its product offering. The Norbain Group and HID Global have a prevailing partnership at several of their other international trading companies.

“We are excited about the partnership and the combination of products, services and capabilities that this affiliation will bring to the market,” remarks HID Global Sub Saharan Area sales manager, Robbie Truter. “The alliance between Norbain SA and HID Global can be characterised as a natural development due to the existing international partnership between the two companies.”

HID Global is headquartered in Irvine, California and has over 2100 employees worldwide with international offices that support more than 100 countries. With production facilities in North America, South America, Asia and Europe, as well as research and development centres all over the world, HID is able to offer Norbain SA reliable, tried-and-tested products and first-rate technical support.

As a supplier of choice for a variety of markets, HID Global develops peripheral devices that serve as complementary products, designed to meet the demands of open architecture. HID Global’s physical access control solutions, consisting of brands such as iCLASS, SmartID, HID Prox and Indala Prox.

Norbain SA’s decision to secure the HID Global brand was based partly on the competitive pricing of their products. “The addition of the HID Global range means that we are able to offer our customers an extensive range of secure identity products to enhance and extend their access control systems,” explains Norbain’s MD, Jan de Lange. “We cannot go wrong partnering with a solid and reputable brand that is very much in demand.”

“We are constantly looking for partners who are capable of adding value to our products,” says Truter. “Norbain has a far reaching distribution network that will ensure that our products are readily available to a growing customer base.”
