Turnstar Systems recently supplied two Triumph full height single turnstiles to the CIDA City Campus Maharishi Institute in the Johannesburg CBD.

The Maharishi Institute is a non-profit organisation that assists underprivileged students in furthering their education and gaining the necessary skills in order to be effective employees in the market. Their focus is on ‘conscious based’ education.

CIDA City Campus, based in Johannesburg, is the first virtually free higher education institution in South Africa, offering holistic education to historically disadvantaged youth who would not otherwise be able to access higher education.

CIDA aims to develop business-minded graduates who can think creatively, engage in open dialogue and care about transforming Africa. CIDA receives no direct funding from the Department of Education.

Craig Sacks, assistant director of Turnstar Systems, says, “It was a pleasure working with CIDA and Maharishi on this project and we are delighted that we were given the opportunity to donate our products to such a worthy cause.”
