Bitdefender Sphere protects all devices in your household

9 February 2012 Information Security, Products & Solutions

Bitdefender is extending all-around security solution Bitdefender Sphere to protect every single device in homes from digital threats.

A single Sphere license now brings peace of mind for an entire family or shared residence for a year. The Sphere allows three users to protect an unlimited number of home-based PCs, Macs and Android smartphones or tablets from an array of e-threats, such as viruses, spyware, spam, and phishing attacks.

“When we set out to launch Bitdefender Sphere, we were working on the idea that the customer could download The Sphere and then simply forget about security concerns – wherever they go and whatever their operating system of device,” said Lucian Lupașcu, product marketing manager for Bitdefender Sphere. “By extending protection to everything in their homes, we have truly managed that.”

The Sphere works seamlessly across devices, running award-winning technology that protects more than 400 million users worldwide and allows you to shop, bank, play and work securely wherever you are. At home or on the move, the Sphere surrounds you with a layer of security fine-tuned in more than a decade on the front lines of the global war against e-threats.

The Sphere operates a tailored array of firewalls, anti-theft functions, application audits, parental controls, phishing filters, online backup, Twitter and Facebook protection, and more on the device you need, when you need it.
