Integrated mid-range storage solution

As we all know, we are moving into an HD market which is extremely demanding on storage performance, capacity, reliability and scalability. The DDN S2A6620 unit provides all of this in a compact 4U solution (60HDDs) or 8U solution (120HDDs). This unit can deliver a whopping 2 GBps (16 Gbps) throughput and is scalable from as small as 2 TB right up to 360 TB. It provides RAID 1/5/6 for redundancy on any type and size of HDD. This allows you to scale from maybe a 2 TB SATA HDD cluster to 3 TB SAS HDDs as well as SSDs all at once.

All major components are hot swappable such as the active/active fibre raid controllers, redundant PSUs, SAS expansion cards and HDDs. This enables the unit to guarantee zero downtime for reliability. DDN caters for large-scale projects and presents itself in an enterprise environment as the only solution in its class.
