New CCTV products available

July 2001 Surveillance

Specialised Control Technologies (SCT) recently announced new exclusive agencies to its CCTV portfolio. According to Mike Cox, management recognised during the middle of last year that it needed additional high quality equipment to supplement the existing range from Chiper, TDK, BASF and Pelco products. "In addition, some items offered for sale because they were purchased out, were not competitive and we were doing our dealers a disservice," he added.

New products in the SCT range include:

* SAE high-speed indoor and outdoor domes in 5, 6, 7 and 12" format, as well as the 3" indoor mini-dome and keyboard controller for use with Hitachi or Sony HAD cameras.

* Oriental Optical lenses in the 3,5 to 8 mm vari-focal manual and auto iris format. The lenses are of aluminium and glass construction.

* A 16-channel duplex, colour, with motion detection unit for 60% of a comparable locally offered unit.
