The Turnstar Speedstile Express is a high-speed access control solution for office buildings and combines a silent motor drive with a sophisticated design. The cabinet of the Speedstile Express is manufactured from 304 grade brushed stainless steel and is effectively a hand crafted product. The sheet metal profile is 3D designed and then laser cut, rolled and welded to the required shapes. This is what provides the tapering effect of the cabinet’s front and back uprights and the cabinet’s top.
The glass wings are of 6 mm toughened glass and two heavy duty geared motor drives provide an opening time of under 1 second enabling ultra-high speed access. The Speedstile Express is the most sophisticated product of its kind in Africa. An array of optical sensors have been fitted to the express gate to prevent unauthorised access at any time during the operating cycle and to prevent tail-gating.
