Francois Malan, technical director at Camsecure says that the company had received a number of requests from current and potential clients in the Cape to provide them with a ‘man on the ground’. “This is a natural extension of the service we currently provide. Our CEO – Danie Malan – resides in the Cape and commutes to Johannesburg while Camsecure’s marketing director, senior accounts manager and I supplement this with regular visits. We also have senior project managers available to assist with large projects in the area.

“We needed to identify and appoint a Western Cape manager who not only had the technical competencies and experience required for this highly competitive industry, but who also identifies with the premium we place on developing innovative and out-of-the-box systems that give our clients the competitive edge.”

De Meillon’s extensive history in the IP/network CCTV surveillance arena made him the ideal candidate for the position. “We have already had positive feedback from our clients in the Western Cape, who will now have instantaneous direct access to the technical expertise Camsecure has become known for,” Malan concluded.
