Itatec has announced that it now represents Anviz Biometrics in southern Africa. The Anviz product range provides cost-effective biometric solutions to a broad range of requirements in access control and time management.
Itatec has integrated the range of Anviz readers with its Clockwatch time and attendance software to provide an inexpensive and easy to use solution to the time keeping needs of enterprises throughout the country.
Anviz has been very successful internationally with its dust and waterproof AFOS300 fingerprint sensor and recently released BioNANO V10 core fingerprint algorithm. Its readers are sold in over 100 countries around the world and it is estimated that over 600 000 systems are in use every day.
The latest Anviz innovation is the OA1000 Mercury reader combines the Anviz platform with a Lumidigm Mercury multispectral fingerprint sensor.
Itatec provides local support to dealers and installers, as well as assisting in developing OEM opportunities for local manufacturers.
