IFSEC product preview: Turning heads

This year Turnstar will have a 72 m² stand in Hall 2 and customers will see a large number of new products, including:

Revolving door (automatic): Turnstar will be displaying a 1,8 m diameter automatic revolving door. The door is manufactured from 304 grade brushed stainless steel and is fitted with 8 mm curved and flat toughened glass.

Man-trap cubicle: The recently launched Turnstar Man-trap cubicle has created quite a stir in the southern African cubicle market. Man-trap cubicles are used to provide access to banks, colleges, office blocks and commercial buildings. The South African market is currently dominated by aluminium shopfitters who assemble the cubicle from various aluminium extruded parts which can bend and warp over time and through heavy usage. Turnstar’s cubicle is manufactured from steel and powder coated in a colour of the customer’s choice.

Express Gate: The Express Gate is a high speed medium security access control solution for office buildings and combines high-speed silent motor drives with a sophisticated sleek design.

Rising Bollard and Kerb: Turnstar will have on display three rising bollards of various diameters (120 mm, 274 mm and 356 mm) and a rising kerb which are used for high security and anti-terror roadway installations.
