G2 Security launches new training room

August 2011 News

G2 Security opened the doors to its newly built training lab in June with a series of one day IP CCTV training courtesy of ACTi.

The new training facility has six high-level desks designed to make hands-on training more comfortable. Each work station has its own computer and monitors are wall mounted for flexible positioning. The room is limited to six trainees to ensure plenty of space at each workstation.

Ruth Lu from ACTi conducted practical training on their IP camera and recording solutions. Each candidate was provided a CCTV camera and NVR to practise the principles taught during the training session. As this is an accredited training course all candidates completed a test at the end. Following the success of these training sessions Lu will be returning to G2 in September to provide another set of courses.

The training facility will be used for practical installer training on TDSi access control, Xtralis Vesda, L-1 Biometrics and many other G2 products.
