Africa's first OSH Expo and Facilities Show

June 2011 News & Events, Conferences & Events

Montgomery Africa has announced that IFSEC South Africa 2011, the OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) Expo Africa, and the Facilities Show Africa will all be held at one location from 6-8 September 2011 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand.

IFSEC is widely recognised as the security event of the year for key decision-makers, end-users, security installers, and security buyers to meet with the cream of the security industry, from market leading international players right through to smaller local firms.

2011 sees the launch of the OSH Expo Africa – a brand new event from Montgomery Africa aimed at providing the local health and safety market with ample information, exciting innovations and a golden opportunity to network with industry leaders.

“South Africa’s economic environment has over the years been transformed into a rapidly developing infrastructure with multinational investment in sectors including mining, manufacturing, transport and many more,” says Ross Cullingworth, commercial event director of Montgomery Africa. “Now eager to equal its global Western counterparts in terms of global safety standards South Africa is ready for a world-class show dedicated to health and safety practices.”

The Facilities Show Africa 2011 will provide an opportunity for the Facilities Management (FM) market in Africa. “It is the perfect time to launch the Facilities Show in South Africa,” says Grant Mills, managing director, Montgomery Africa. “Research has shown that the local FM sector is a rapidly developing industry with a growing emphasis on finding the most efficient and cost-effective solutions to create resourceful and sustainable organisations,” he says.
