Intelligent lock

Uniclox Technologies has launched the Uni 4000 fingerprint door lock. This intelligent lock can be used on standalone doors to protect high security areas like IT server rooms, stock rooms, accounting and payroll offices or executive suites. It is also ideal for residential or SME office use.

The Uni 4000 door lock is so simple even a child can use it. The person presents his finger to the sensor and access is immediately granted or denied. The lock opens only for authorised people, and there is a 24/7 time audit trail on the lock of each person who has entered.

The Uni 4000 is easy to install as it replaces the door handle and mortise. No wiring or software installation is required.

“Biometric systems are not only harder to cheat, they also reduce administration time and costs,” explains Raymond Noppé, MD of Uniclox Technologies. “By switching to biometric technology managers can eliminate both human error and fraud.”
