TeleEye offers all-in-one surveillance solution.

TeleEye has announced the launch of TeleEye Turnkey HD Surveillance System. The system is an end-to-end solution which includes TeleEye’s HD video cameras, HD recorders and video management software. This one-stop-shop approach ensures seamless compatibility and optimised performance in operations.

HDTV quality and resolution

TeleEye MX Series HD Video Camera is a key component of the system. The cameras comply with the common HDTV standard and offer the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (720p) with 16:9 wide screen aspect ratio which provides 33% more viewing area and much better clarity. The resolution of MX Cameras is over 800 TVL which exceeds most of the conventional cameras.

The cameras are equipped with multistream compression technology HD SMAC-M and are capable of HD live video recording and multisite viewing by using TeleEye sureSIGHT Video Management Solution and sureREC HD Recorder. Included in the range are:

* MX820-HD: An entry-level fixed dome comes with vandal resistant IP66 casing for outdoor applications.

* MX833-HD: An IR dome that comes with a varifocal, auto iris lens and switchable IR-cut filter. The IR illumination range can reach up to 15 m.

* MX873-HD: A camera equipped with a similar specification as MX833-HD. It also comes with a wall-mount housing for perimeter protection applications.

TeleEye sureSIGHT Video Management Solution

sureSIGHT is a versatile video management solution which is compatible with MX Series Cameras. Its modular and scalable design gives users the flexibility to build up the most suitable platform for any specific requirements. sureSIGHT supports simultaneous monitoring of up to 64 videos on a single screen. With the assistance of siteMATRIX, the system can even display up to 80 live videos on four LCD screens with 20 live videos per monitor.

TeleEye sureREC HD Recorder

sureREC HD Recorder is a PC-based platform pre-installed with sureREC V3 viewing and recording software. It is designed to support recording and monitoring of 16 MX cameras at a maximum recording frame rate of 200 fps in HD resolution.

TeleEye’s HD SMAC-M is a multistream video coder for HD video. It provides multiple independent streams covering different bit rates for HD video. With the independent HD video recording stream, MX Cameras can deliver video recording at HD quality through the sureREC HD recorder.

HD SMAC-M has also provided independent streams for video transmission on the Internet and mobile networks respectively. Users can view live HD video from MX Cameras via LAN, broadband and mobile networks while recording HD video on the sureREC HD recorder. TeleEye iView and iView-HD are the video surveillance apps for iPhone and iPad respectively. For Blackberry and other J2ME smartphones, TeleEye M-303 Mobile Monitoring Solution also delivers remote video surveillance function.
