April 2011 News & Events

As part of its roll-out into the African market, Sentronics SD, is pleased to announce the addition of ASD to its distribution network. The relationship between Sentronics SD and ASD was announced at an official launch in Botswana, early March 2011.

ASD, a distributor of CCTV and access control equipment in Botswana is a division of the Technosential Group of companies. The Technosential Group of companies has introduced some innovative, cutting-edge technologies to the Botswana market such as electronic shelf labelling, IT sales and home and building automation.

Managing director of Sentronics, Bernard Senekal and owner of ASD, Mike Delport, are very enthusiastic about this new challenge and are expecting a bright future for ASD in Botswana. “There is huge potential for the CCTV, access control and integrated systems market in Botswana as companies are moving from analogue to IP technology. Sentronics will be duplicating its successfully implemented value-added proposition in South Africa for the Botswana market,” says Senekal.

Hendrik Theron, channel manager for Sentronics, will be the resource dedicated to service the Sentronics distribution network.
