The BD235 Curtain PIR with Direction Recognition is the latest addition to the range of detectors available from Regal Distributors. This compact detector offers installers and end users a number of additional features in addition to the standard 6-metre vertical detection area.
The features of the BD235 include programmable Intelligent Directional Movement Recognition. This feature is used to detect movement in a specific direction at an entry or exit point such as a sliding door entrance and movement will only be detected when entering or exiting through this door. Should any movement be detected in the opposite direction an alarm condition will be generated.
The programmable Intelligent Detection Delay feature will allow continuous activations of the Curtain PIR for a selected time period of 40, 120 or 240 seconds without generating an alarm condition. Any activation after the selected time period will generate an alarm condition.
In addition to the above features the BD235 Curtain PIR offer the added benefits of a microprocessor controlled PIR with Digital Signal Processing, Advanced Temperature Compensation, low power consumption and vertical or horizontal mounting.
