Eavesdropping Detection Solutions is presenting a workshop on technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) entitled Nuts and Bolts of TSCM for Security Managers from 14–16 March 2011 at the Irene Country Lodge in Centurion.

The purpose of the workshop is to simplify and to acquaint security managers and others responsible for information protection in their organisations with all aspects of the management of technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) services and procedures.

Topics covered are:

* What is TSCM?

* History of TSCM.

* Attack methods.

* Technical surveillance devices.

* TSCM equipment resources.

* Technical security hazards.

* Concepts of TSCM.

* TSCM survey procedures.

* Planning and reporting.

* Technical investigations and covering the procedural concepts for integrating technical security with existing facility security.

The cost to attend this unique workshop is R6840,00 (including VAT) and includes the workshop material, refreshments, meals, workshop handbook and certificate. Seating is limited and early booking is recommended.
