Handheld binding system

June 2001 Infrastructure

The Tyton binding system from Hellermann Tyton is suitable for binding cables, pipes or any other similar elements together quickly and efficiently. The bundles can also be attached to walls or panels by means of simple accessories. Three sizes of tool are available for 3, 4 or 8 mm wide strapping.

The Tyton tool is easy to use. After feeding the strapping round the cables to be fastened, and back into the head of the tool, the trigger action forces an integral retaining rivet into the opposing mating surface where it expands slightly, remaining firmly in position even under extreme vibration.
