The Datawise MT Digit from SCM Microsystems is an accurate, affordable fingerprint reader for secure PC system access. Aimed at both the corporate network and home desktop, the MT Digit authenticates user access using proven biometric technology. With access granted in less than 1 s, the MT Digit does away with the hassles involved in remembering and keying in passwords.

The MT Digit plugs into the PC's printer port and offers the user a printer pass-through feature which ensures the printer, scanner or any other printer port device remains on-line.

The MT Digit can be used on any network or standalone PC running Windows 95/98 or Windows NT4.0.
