The NVR-AS3000 standalone 'green' network video recorder can deliver high-performance IP video storage solutions with extremely low power consumption and heat dissipation, typically less than 10 W per terabyte of useable RAID 5 storage.
All standalone IndigoVision NVRs can be rack- or desk-mounted and require no additional hardware for operation. They can be located at any point on a network allowing recording/playback across multiple sites. Remote NVR management and configuration is performed using a Web-based configuration interface which forms part of IndigoVisions Control Center software
Replacing PC servers and attached storage with NVR-AS3000 unit requires much less energy, less air-conditioning and power infrastructure. They provide a fault-tolerant server-less recording environment with RAID 0, 1 or 5 configurations, redundant gigabit Ethernet connections and redundant power supplies.
