The new GKB 2805 features the new Sony Super-HAD CCD II, which presents lower lux illumination and clearer and crisper picture quality with a horizontal resolution of an amazing 600 TVL. It is embedded with 3DNR (3D noise reduction) technology that removes noise from the image signal and produces extremely clear picture quality even under low-light conditions for 24/7 surveillance. The D-WDR (digital wide dynamic range) feature improves the contrast between very dark and very bright areas making it ideal for areas with highly contrasting light. This is particularly useful in situations where the camera is looking at scenes with a large amount of glare in the background or where one wishes to look through a window, seeing both the indoor and outdoor environment. This performs remarkably well in number plate recognition applications where the vehicle’s lights are suppressed so that the licence plate can be recognised. It has 36 IR LEDs which in conjunction with the latest Sony high sensitivity CCD ensures the IR radiant distance can reach up to 50 metres even in outdoor environments. Smart IR control circuitry ensures that close objects do not cause IR illumination over-exposure.
