Impro Technologies has launched an array of new products intended to stay ahead of the times and ahead of the pack in the access control market.
Leading this charge are the new multidiscipline readers (MDR) able to read both 125 kHz and 13,56 MHz tag technologies on one reader. These tag types include 125 kHz EM Marin, HID, Read/Write, and Impro Proprietary Tags; as well as 13,56 MHz iClass, Philips MiFARE and Desfire, and Sony Felica tags.
The new MDRs are housed in a mark-resistant 304 stainless steel cover and can be connected up to 150 metres from the door controller and are also compatible with third party systems using the Wiegand 44-bit output. The MDR comes fully potted for vandal-resistant outdoor use as well as an anti-tamper switch on the reader.
