Miro Distribution has been awarded direct partner distribution rights by RADWIN, a carrier-class wireless product that has proven its reliability, throughput of up to 50 Mbps full duplex and interference avoidance techniques (using OFDM).
RADWIN wireless offers not only maximum uptime, but fast automatic fault recovery as well, resulting in high availability of up to 99,999% of the time. It offers native E1 capability on its radio products, anything between 1 and 16 E1 connections can be deployed over a single wireless link. This is up to 480 concurrent voice channels at carrier-class reliability and quality. The products operate in the Sub-6 GHz frequencies, offering cost-effective solutions in both the unlicensed and licensed spectrum.
RADWIN is already present in South Africa as it was chosen by the South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL) for highway traffic surveillance. RADWIN’s links were deployed along the R-21 highway and are used to transmit video of traffic conditions to SANRAL’s Network Management Centre.
