The TK-C686/C685 Series by JVC incorporates a newly-developed direct drive motor for pan/tilt operation. Instead of a conventional belt-type mechanism, it can provide monitoring with more precision, less operation noise, and superior durability. The Direct Drive Motor is for extra precision and silence and 36x optical zoom for magnification. The dome has accurate positioning (±0,03° precision), super fast and super slow pan/tilt (500°/sec to 0,04°/sec variable) and super silent operation.
The direct drive dome has a high-resolution of 540 TV Lines, 0,25-inch IT CCD with approximately 440 000 effective pixels captures precise images for high-quality monitoring and equipped with a day/night function with IR cut filter and automatic switching between day and night modes. Other functions include, effective backlight compensation, ExDR (by dual shutter) for monitoring in backlit situations and JVC and Pelco P/D protocol support. Furthermore, the camera has dust- and waterproof design (IP66) and a one-touch lock mechanism for quick and easy installation.
