The QD Group is in the process of expanding its range of alarm panels. The new generation of panels will form the platform for fully integrated security systems. The first of the new series, the PI HSC 816 Alarm Panel.
The new HSC816 is designed to be a cost-effective, flexible, integrated 16-zone user-friendly LED panel. The zones can be hard-wired or wireless, in any combination as required. This flexibility is ideal for modern houses with concrete slabs, which make total hard wiring difficult.
When the HSC 816 is used in conjunction with a QD GPRS communicator the following features become available:
* Two-way communications to the control room using Point ID.
* Siren verification of the receipt of the alarm signal at the control room.
* Accurate time keeping for the reading of historic logs.
* Remote programming of the panel.
* Remote downloading of the panel event log.
* Retrieval of panel status.
* Users’ ability to test the complete system independent of the control room.
