Secequip to distribute Impro products

September 2009 News & Events

Texecom is an international manufacturer of intruder alarm products, including a full range of motion detectors, control panels, perimeter protection devices, heat and smoke detectors, external sounders and power supplies. Texecom UK opened its South African head office in Johannesburg in 2000 and with a network of sales and support centres around the country.

At the start of 2009, however, Texecom UK sold the South African operation to John Rogers and Brian Anderson, forming Secequip Supplies.

Entrenching Secequip’s position in the South African market is a commitment to the vision of “extending our position as a leading provider of world-class electronic security products and solutions to Sub-Saharan Africa . . .” as well as “exceeding the expectations of our customers, shareholders and employees through commitment to our core values”, combined with an award-winning product range which enjoys world-wide success and support.

Secequip has also employed former corporate account manager for Impro Technologies, George Psoulis to ensure that, through the Secequip branch network, Impro products will be available nationwide. Psoulis joins Secequip with a wealth of experience regarding the Impro product range from system design configuration to setup.

Alastair McPhail (Impro sales manager – JHB), John Rogers (MD of Secequip Supplies), Gerrie von Tonder (Impro national sales manager), George Psoulis (sales executive, Secequip)
