Arecont Vision manufactures HDTV surveillance IP cameras. Leveraging its proprietary MegaVideo technology, the company offers the world’s fastest multimegapixel (8 Mp, 5 Mp, 3 Mp, 2 Mp and 1,3 Mp) network cameras supporting full-motion video frame rates. Arecont’s new line of H.264 HD cameras provides security professionals with the flexibility of various frame rates and resolutions for a variety of applications. Arecont Vision systems deliver unparalleled clarity at an unbeatable price providing vastly superior alternative to analogue CCTV.

The AVxx55 and AV8xx5 MegaDome series network cameras are part of Arecont Vision’s full line of H.264 megapixel cameras. This fully compliant implementation of H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10) provides (1280x1024, 1600x1200, 2048x1536, 2592x1944 and 6400x1200 [4x- 1600x1200]) megapixel resolutions at frame rates from 9 to 24 ips. The MegaDome camera line provides an all-in-one solution with integrated megapixel camera, lens and vandal resistant dome enclosure. Using MegaVideo technology, these cameras offer bandwidth and storage efficiency of up to 10x on average over traditional megapixel counterparts.

The AVxx55 MegaDome series consist of the following models:

* AV1355: 1,3 Megapixel (1280x1024).

* AV2155: 2 Megapixel (1600 x1200).

* AV3155: 3 Megapixel (2048x1536).

* AV5155: 5 Megapixel (2592x1944).

All four of the above models are available in standard colour and day and night versions. Both versions are available with or without built in heater.

The AV8xx5 MegaDome series consist of the following models:

* AV8185: 8 Megapixel (6400x1200 [4x- 1600x1200]) for 180° view.

* AV8365: 8 Megapixel (6400x1200 [4x- 1600x1200]) for 360° view.
