New Hikvision surveillance range

October 2008 Surveillance

Hikvision Digital Technology launched its new IP Surveillance products – DS-2CD852MF-E 2 Megapixels Network Camera and DS-2DF1-617 Network High-speed Dome Camera, as well as DS-9000 Series Intelligent Hybrid DVR – at ASIS 2008 in September.

DS-2CD852MF-E 2 Megapixels Network Camera adopts high performance TI-DSP technology and the MPEG4/H.264 video codec, which make the product able to deliver clear realtime video with enhanced efficiency in data processing. And one of the highlights of the product is a local storage feature using an SD card, which provides non-stop recording even when the Ethernet connection is interrupted. DS-2CD852MF-E also supports power over Ethernet and e-PTZ, which make the product a perfect solution for finance, government, telecommunication, and critical infrastructure applications among others.

DS-2DF1-617 Network High-speed Dome, which adopts 1/4 inch Sony EXVIEW CCD and 36X optical zoom integrative camera, supports colour to B&W auto switch, 480 TVL horizontal resolution, 360° high-speed continuous rotation, and auto flip in vertical direction. The H.264 video compression technology with high compression radio and flexible process makes the product able to provide clear surveillance video for users. 24/7 surveillance can be achieved with the features of ultra-wide dynamic range, back-light compensation, and auto/manual shifting (Colour and B/W) on low illumination conditions. The 200 preset positions with precision under 0,1° and 12 privacy blanking area with adjustable position and range also make DS-2DF1-617 Network High-speed Dome a flexible solution for various security applications.

The new DS-9000 Series Intelligent Hybrid DVR is being designed based on a completely new structure of using ARM 9 RISC processor along with TI new generation DSP DM647 and 648 DSPs, providing more powerful networkability and intelligence features. With the new DSP platforms adopted, DS-9000 series can offer more powerful intelligent video processing and deliver better performance while catering to new demands in security nowadays.

With the new release of network cameras and intelligent hybrid DVRs, as well as other IP surveillance products, Hikvision is now able to offer everything one needs to build up a complete IP surveillance infrastructure.
