Product roadshow from FSK

October 2008 News & Events

On 7 August this year, FSK held a product launch at the Raddison Hotel at the Cape Town Waterfront. FSK used the roadshow to demonstrate some of its new products, including:

1. FSK has entered the world of remote transmitters and receivers and has demonstrated a new single and multibutton learn transmitter. These handheld transmitters can operate on either 403 MHz or 433 MHz and can transmit either binary, trinary or code hopping and in the case of the multibutton you can have different combinations of coding per button. All these remotes offer the user the flexibility of learn mode where they can be taught by another transmitter.

FSK’s long range receivers also operate on both 403 and 433 MHz and have full learn capabilities as well as multichannel outputs.

2. FSK also released its new Multi Router, which has the ability to be a multichannel repeater or base-station as well as offering the user the integration of GPRS with radio. This unit can be configured to be a multichannel repeater with its primary re-transmission being on GPRS with a failsafe to radio transmission. When configured as a base-station it can receive radio signals on multiple VHF and UHF frequencies as well as GPRS signals.

3. FSK also introduced its new multichannel R Net decoder. Besides being able to decode multiple channels and GSM, it also has multiple interfaces to FSK’s remote equipment and short-range equipment making it an ideal unit for small complexes, cluster villages etc.
