Texecom South Africa supplies a range of high tech control panels and detection devices for high risk applications.

The Texecom entry level 412 control panel has eight zones, expandable to 16 zones, two partitions, eight programmable outputs, a 750 event log to ensure versatility and ease of end user function. Texecom’s 412 boasts four programmable timers with seven day maps enabling various functions eg, activating outputs at certain times on selected days, switching of lights, locking users into time windows, etc.

Texecom’s 832 control panel boasts the features of the 412 control panel, including four partitions, 32 zones, a 1000 event log and DTMF/mobile phone control as standard.

Texecom’s 168 control panel boasts eight zones expandable to 168 zones with 172 programmable outputs, 16 partitions, full SMS functionality, entry level access control with X10 protocols as standard. Texecom’s 168 control panel is regarded as the most versatile, cost effective control panel in the South African security industry integrating into CCTV systems with event and image overlay as standard.

Texecom’s 640 control panel carries all the benefits of the 168 control panel. Texecom’s 640 control panel is expandable to 640 zones, 64 partitions, a 5000 event log and 500 user codes. The Texecom 824 control panel has been designed for the protection of ATMs with all the required security features one would expect from a leading brand of control panels. The 824 is extensively used in South Africa for the protection of ATMs and was developed for the South African market.

Texecom control panels all have serial ports on board which allows for onsite PC and printer connection to allow security managers access to event buffers as and when required to investigate and retrieve any information required from the system. The Texecom panels have the most versatile communication formats in the security industry and all Texecom control panels are GPRS, IP, GSM, radio and landline compatible. All the aforementioned communication formats are extensively used in the South African industry. Texecom control panels offer a number of timers with seven day maps which add many advantages to the Texecom control panel range such as the ability to lock user PIN code into time windows and days of the week should this be required – switching of devices at selected times on certain days of the week. Texecom control panels have an anti-masking function built into the panels as standard to allow any number of selected detectors to be monitored for masking. A number of Texecom control panels have the X10 protocols for automation, including access control with card and tag readers being the norm.
