Utilising simultaneous Motion JPEG and advanced MPEG-4 video streams, the unit includes video motion detection, pre- and post-alarm buffers and bi-directional audio support, and the fact that it is suitable for both indoor surveillance and remote monitoring applications means it provides the user with a number of options.
With wide dynamic range (WDR) - a more sophisticated version of back light compensation ( BLC) - the SNC-B2315 is able to detect differences in illumination, so rather than showing the viewing area at a single luminance level, it is able to increase the range of the luminance in order to prevent any noticeable differences in the pictures. This effective function provides the best image quality in its class with regards to indoor lighting conditions.
The network camera features true day/night capabilities that are able to automatically alternate between black and white at night and colour in the day-time, allowing surveillance under the worst conditions.
